Mediation and Consulting

Resolving Family and Workplace Conflict with Compassion, Clarity, and Colorado Integrity

At Stevenson Heywood Mediation & Consulting, we are committed to providing ethical, collaborative, and solution-focused mediation services to families, professionals, and business partners throughout Colorado.

Our Story

Founded by sisters Lizzie Stevenson, LMFT, and Martha Heywood, Stevenson Heywood Mediation & Consulting is more than a business; it’s a family legacy. Born and raised in Colorado as two of nine siblings, Lizzie and Martha bring the wisdom, diplomacy, and lived experience of growing up in a large family to their work. They understand, firsthand, the importance of clear communication, fairness, and long-term harmony.

Their professional paths—one in family systems therapy, the other in executive leadership—have uniquely positioned them to help others navigate interpersonal and business conflicts with both strategy and heart. Just as they learned to resolve conflict around the kitchen table, they now help clients find resolution across boardroom tables, parenting plans, and separation agreements.

Disclaimer: Lizzie’s LMFT credential informs her understanding of relational systems, but she does not provide therapy in mediation or through this business.
